Please join the Ancaster Village Heritage Community and help us make a difference in Ancaster!
It takes an active membership and funding to protect Ancaster’s heritage and support positive development. Your membership lets us keep you updated on items of interest in our community and what AVHC is doing,
The cost of annual membership is $20 per person. Donations are also welcome. You can join by cheque or you can email funds securely from any bank to our TD account at [email protected]. When you e-mail funds to [email protected], make sure you note the names and address of those who are becoming members, or email me separately, so that we can include everyone in our mailing and membership list.

Ancaster Village Heritage Community is an incorporated not for profit under the laws of Ontario. Our bank is TD Canada Trust in the Meadowlands. We have an amazing professional and committed Board. We are on the brink of successfully addressing a number of issues that concern our neighbours and the Township, including traffic; inventorying and preserving our heritage buildings; promoting public participation in demolitions of buildings (remember the Brandon House); and ensuring that new development preserves the character of our neighbourhoods and the Town of Ancaster.
We have other projects in mind that will enhance the quality of life in our hometown!
