My wife Sandy and I have lived in Ancaster now for 20 years, and we just love our neighbourhood and the community. Ancaster has been a wonderful home for us, and we want to preserve and even make better the quality of life we all share here in the Village and in the Township. Over the past months, since we founded the Ancaster Village Heritage Community, we’ve discovered many new friends; and we appreciate the support of so many who have joined with us in our efforts to help residents organize and express their concerns and their vision for how the community should advance. I especially want to thank our Board for its support and hard work, as we’ve become incorporated; grown in membership; built a website and Facebook page; developed plans and a vision for how we should operate in the community; built positive relationships with our Councillor and City staff; and raised our profile in the community through publications in the local media and online – all in a very short time. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, we are working hard together!
